GPAAIS will be conducting its next educational event on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

The event will consist of a reception followed by a presentation and dinner. The event will take place at Ruth's Chris Steak House which is located at 6 PPG Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 downtown. The phone number is (412) 391-4800 and the website is http://ruthschris.com.

The presentation will be conducted by David Duhamel, MD, FCCP. Dr. Duhamel is the Director of the Pulmonary Special Procedures Unit and Lung Cancer Center at Virginia Hospital Center. 

He received his medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He also completed his residency in internal medicine and served as Chief Resident at Georgetown. He completed a fellowship in pulmonary, critical care, and interventional bronchoscopy at the University of California, San Diego.

Dr. Duhamel will deliver a presentation entitled: "Bronchial Thermoplasty."

All members are encouraged to attend the reception, presentation and dinner. Associate members are encouraged to attend the reception.

The reception will take place from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. The presentation and dinner will occur from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
